Are facias & soffits Asbestos?

Could anyone tell me how I can find out whether I have asbestos?
I bought the house 2012 - nothing came up on the survey (c/o Santander) suggesting asbestos however I have had 5 roofers to give me a quote for replacing guttering and all have mentioned asbestos - without climbing a ladder - and I havent heard back from any of them!
I have looked at neighbours properties but they havent been replaced either. The property was built in the 50's.
Appreciate any help.

the Gutters might be asbestos as well as the soffits fascias wouldnt were abouts in uk are you

they possibly could be but to a decent roofer / gutter contractor this should not be a problem as, lets be honest, your house is not the only one. Yes the product needs to be disposed of correctly b

I am pretty sure the gutters are plastic as I can reach them from the window but facias & soffits look like they have been painted so I cant tell what its made off. Thats why I wondered if councils kept records of houses built & materials used?
Property is near Gatwick Airport.

Not for a house built over 60 years ago.

You need to get them tested to be sure.
