Dogs trust advertise dog friendly places to stay
And just put into google: dog friendly cottages, you'll get plenty of choice. You can choose areas and number of dogs etc.
I could have recommended one in Wales but have not been to any in your preferred areas, sorry

We've just come back from a stay in an OwnersDirect Property that was hugely dog friendly. The owner has a dog herself and makes sure that the house is dog friendly as well as having lists of local dog walks and dog friendly pubs. The property was called PuddleDuck Cottage and is in the Ironbridge Gorge. It was the most amazing break, calm, restful and stress free. I'd highly recommend it.

Weve been before with hoseasons cottage - took the dog, - stayed a few years at the same cottage, there no longer with hoseasons as the portfolio has expanded and the lady manages them herself.
