What are you saying katskorner? You don't have to have the toolbar to enter the survey?0 -
All,
I signed up to GFK in mid-Aug when I first saw the free Amazon voucher offer on MSE.
I didn't hear anything until mid-Oct when I received an e-mail asking me to download toolbar and start completing surveys etc.
Have now received my Amazon fiver for the toolbar this week.
Just a word of warning about the toolbar - as a matter of precaution I decided to download it on my 'dirty' PC (Windows 98, steam driven, patched together with bodge tape but its served me well, 7 years old) instead of my newer PC. It did something to Internet Explorer so that I can't open two IE windows at the same time (system just freezes) unless it is via a hyperlink on the first IE browser window. Not to say this will happen with newer OS but just thought I'd let you know.
Thanks

As I've mentioned in my previous post I too didn't receive the £5 voucher until after emailing them, I just clicked on the reply button from the reminder email using helpdesk@gfkmedia.com and received the voucher the next day. If you’re still having problems after trying the 0800 number you could try writing them a letter of complaint. Their address is at the bottom of their emails.
Thankx - I've e mailed then about 10 times now, did phone and they said they'd get back to me - nothing so far .... but as I said, this wasn't the toolbar fiver, it was for another 7 day survey I did back in August, haven't had any problems before, and to the people who lost out on the vouchers, yes, you can store them on Amazon, I've got 30 odd quid at the momment, as soon as they arrive, the vouchers, put them straight onto your Amazon account, if you don't have an account, open one xOoh, I've gotta little star! What's that for then?!!0 -

Funny you should say that - my PC chappie, friend who mends my PC when it goes haywire, says the more toolbars you have, the slower your PC will run, I've got rid of all mine now - or rather he did, including GfK's and I have really noticed the difference!Ooh, I've gotta little star! Can you tell me how to store vouchers in an Amazon account. I've not bothered to ask this before as my voucher expires 01/10/2009.0

Hi - did you know that by clicking on the link you gave above I was taken straight to my Amazon account! I put the same link in my post and clicked on it and it took me to my account too. Was a bit concerned that anyone else clicking on it would also be taken to my account, but it seems that it just takes one to one's own account - I think ...!Ooh, I've gotta little star! Don't worry Ann1e no one will be able to view your account as the cookies on your computer are set to your account that is why you can view your account when you click through the link in alanclose's post. I just checked on the computer I'm using here and it says "Sign in" "What is your e-mail address?" etc.0

It will only take you to your account if you are logged in to amazon otherwise it will bring you to the log in screen.
If you have a look at the url in the link you will see it has no personal details regarding login0
