Hello
I have just taken out a new Sainsbury CC for the sole purpose of paying off my Vanquis CC which has approx £1500 on it. However Sainsbury have now told me they don't do balance transfers to Vanquis (no mention of this at time of application!). Should I cancel my Sainsbury's card and take out another card? (Are there companies who will balance transfer to Vanquis?) Or should I withdraw cash from Sainsbury card and pay card off that way? Withdrawing cash I will will have high interest rate but still less than Vanquis!!
Many thanks for any advice

Do you mean you want to transfer a balance FROM Vanquis TO Sainsburys?
I don't see why you'd have a problem, do you hold a Vanquis VISA card or is it an Argos card?Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
