It's £500 per hour, not per day. LOL.
Up until a few months ago then that would have been telephone numberesque things to me too then.
Now working in numbers abbreviated with a B at the end rather than M - its amazing how quickly you lose sense of reality when dealing with such big numbers0 -
At 500UKP per hour for 24 hours, that's 4,380,000UKP per year.
If I were you then I'd keep this case strung out for as long as possible.
But then again, this is obviously total nonsense and we will never hear the outcome to this "case".0 -
HI EVERYBODY, im in the early stages of taking my bank to court through the financial ombudsman service. has any one here been through this process before? It is a very complicated case and i feel totally overwhelmed by it all. the scottish ombudsman service has advised me that we need to go to court asap because of the amount of money were dealing with, due to the fact that the ombudsman service can only pay out a maximum of £1.5 million to a private individual. im from a some what poorish back round and have never seen numbers like this before execpt in telephone numbers. The ombudsman service is free right? because we were advised that the court would take up to 10 % for costs.???. can a solicitor ask for a fee or do they recoup from the other side? any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks for reading
