Quinny pram has broken 6 days after warranty has ended..

Hi all,
I have a Quinny Buzz pram that has broken - it will no longer collapse.
I ordered it on the 7th Nov 2012 and it comes with a two year warranty. Do you think it should be repaired under the sale of goods act?
It was ordered via the internet, so we may not have even received the pram until a week after, also my daughter wasn't born until May (we bought everything early!) so it has only been used for a year and a half.
Thanks

A warranty is in addition to your statutory rights so may have any terms it likes (providing they're reasonable of course).
Under the Sale of Goods Act, once 6 months has passed, it is up to the buyer to prove the goods are inherently faulty rather than faulty through misuse or natural wear n tear.
If you havent already, contact the manufacturer, sometimes they will still repair under warranty if it has failed within a short time after the warranty expiration date or theres the possibility it will run 2 years from delivery (although I think most run from purchase date). You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
