It may be worth looking at the auctioneer's site to see how sale prices relate to guide prices. You may find that guide prices are pitched low to gather interested bidders and they may often go for considerably more. Have you factored in auctioneer's fees in assessing how much of a bargain this house is?0

Im thinking of buying at Auction, the bank have said theyll release the funds before i go to auction. Although i am releasing equity. Not sure if this is an option or not for you.Investments - £1,290.62 (Shares on a DRIP Strategy)

I have to say that I'm very much admiring your huge sense of adventure (or others may think a complete lack of understanding of the risk of what you're doing) but if you know what the possible problems are, don't scare easily and can afford to risk your deposit if things go pear shaped - good for you!0
