Charming buyer, how should I respond?!

Would she be unable to open a case in Ebay if she has a history of INR? I could not understand why she would not open a case...
Yes, too many cases and eBay prevent them from using the resolution centre.
So they can keep "buying" and then claim INR through messaging hoping that some sellers are going to roll over and pay up.0 -
Just wanted to add something here. I have had a few of these now where someone claimed the item is not received so this is how I respond:
Sorry it has not arrived, please can you give it a few more days, speak to the postman/lady and the sorting office and see if it being held there. Although the item has no tracking I have an online business account and a postage license number is on each parcel and my business manager can track using my license number, we do however have to give it some time to arrive as Royal Mail state 3 weeks. If you can give it 2 weeks and if it has still not arrived I will speak to my business account manager who will speak with your sorting office and post delivery person to confirm whether they have attempted to mail the parcel. My mailing bags are quite distinct and so they would be remembered Get back to me x days and we can go from there.'
You'll be surprised how many arrive in the next few days when you say that you have a business manager that can speak to the postman/lady.In fact I had one just yesterday. It makes me sad to think how easy it is for us to get ripped off because we sell online.
However, while I do say that with a wink, when I had a full mailing bag go missing, the manager of my sorting office was going to speak to all the mail delivery people of the missing items after 3 weeks - I told him not to worry about it - as my buyers were really, really good, some took 3 weeks to arrive but all but 3 did, I kept them informed and they left me good feedback - and just wrote the items off as a loss. But your business manager can, and will, speak to the mail delivery person if need be. And send in distinct packaging that catch the eye.0 -
Olgadapolga, it may be worth going via Livechat as they often remove negatives particularly as you can demonstrate that the buyers have a history of failed INR`s

Thanks for reminding me of this - I have a neutral where a buyer states they had to chase for a refund after 2 weeks, but it wasn't, it was 2 days when the parcel arrived with me, I had set the parcel aside and forgotten to process it that evening.
When I checked their FB they had left loads of the same kind of feedback for other people. For someone who has such a bitter and tragic buying experience on eBay, you have to wonder why they bother.0 -

Any idea how many INR's before you're banned from the resolution centre?? I've raised a few INR's in the past. I doubt if any of the items I haven't received were really lost in the post..
In a couple of cases I'd already paid when the seller emailed to say they weren't going send the item because my bid was too low or the item was damaged! I don't know why, but they didn't refund until I opened an INR case! In one case, the seller opened a case against me to get their FVF and paypal charges, because my bid was less than they wanted! (they lost).
On other occasions, the items never arrived. I suspected the winning bids were too low with those as well.0 -

I've had 5 open in the past 6 weeks, all from the Far east. 2 of them went as far as being escalated, however that is a small percentage of my purchases over the time frame.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks. It's probably not a problem for me. Mine are 2-3 a year, which is a small percentage of successful purchases.0 -

They were my first ones for ages, the sellers were being particularly unhelpful and in each case had started picking up negative feedback saying that sellers had made them wait until the time for a ebay claim had timed out.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
