Getting Virgin Media discount

Moving house, currently have analogue Telewest cable, I understand they used to offer:
2 MB Broadband
Phone
XL TV
(this still shows up online if you select XL TV & 2MB broadband, but when you go to checkout it reverts to L TV)
for £30
now they are only offering L TV for the same price. Don't want to pay this, but the person I spoke to on the phone insisted they could not give me any discount, recurring discounts are not possible at all, and she did not seem bothered when I said I would not take their services.
Any suggestions for negotiating?
