Have seen them on the Boots website I think it was £12.99 a pair but wondered if anyone had spotted them cheaper in the likes of SuperDrug etc?
I don't have a Savers, Super Drug nearby but happy to make the trip if I can get them cheaper than Boots

Not that im a doctor or anything but as far as im aware "flight socks" are a way of boots etc making money out of peoples fears of DVT.
The advice i would offer you would be to wear a pair of tight socks or tights.
Walk around (highly annoying for the cabin crew but good for you) as much as you can, move your feet round and round, up and down when in your seat.
If you arnt allergic to them, take an asperin before the flight.
Drink lots of water

Thanks everyone, the ones on the boots website are the Scholl ones and it is one pair only although they are on 3 for 2.
I'll have a look in Marks first I think0 -
About 4 weeks ago i purchased some for my mother-in-law they were on the reduced shelf in Tesco's in the pharmacy section and they were only £2.87. So it might be worth having a look to see if they've got any left.0

Aparently there are over 15000 planes in the air at any one time, god knows how many millions of people on planes everyday. I think Ive heard of about 3 people getting this dvt. Go with what trolley dolly said and not the front page of the News of the world.0

Good point, provided you are not one of the three people and don't have high blood pressure, bad circulation etc.0
