    I've just read this thread and I'm amazed that anyone can follow it. A few pictures would paint a million words and would clarify the problem(s) perfectly. Any chance?

    This is no troll, it's a sensible hyper diy adviser telling you that if;

    Quote,
    "Thanks, I'm really struggling! Been doing DiY plumbing all day for the first time I've ever done any."
    Then it's time to get help.

    You are changing a tap washer for goodness sake, not re-plumb the house.

    I won't try to help you again, good luck, because you are going to need some.

    You asked for advice and I gave some after several of your posts. I even added the caveat that you may not like the advice, and apologized in preemption of your response .

    Given that, feel free to go for it, but the taps still leaking whilst you keep procrastinating[/QUOT

    Goodbye then, finally you are not going to come back to "help". Great. You sound like you have just a few inadequacies so it makes you feel better coming on my thread making abusive and insulting comments.

    Someone is a bit touchy:p. 3 days to change a washer? You don't work for British Gas do you?

    Why are you repeating lies? I have now reported this thread because people are being dishonest aggressive and abusive.

    I didn't come on here to be taken the !!!! out of but clearly there are some people with some problems who decide to take them out on vulnerable people on these forums.

    Erm ok, lol. Can you clarify which lies I've repeated please? If you think people have been dishonest, aggressive and abusive you certainly are vunerable.

    You asked for help in your opening post, you were given the opinions of others, it's what happens on an open forum. If it's not the opinion you want to hear then don't post.

    Then I suggest you read back, check up on your plumbing skills and then see what others have said in response to your repulsive attitude to someone that tried to stop you creating a disaster.
    I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

    Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

    Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

    No one has insulted you here, BUT, and a big but, I and others have said;

    "Look, this seems to be beyond you, consider professional help", and !!!!!! this is from a bloke that never uses pro help.
