vehicle wrap recommendations please - South

I am thinking of getting my van wrapped. It is in very poor condition paint-work wise (it's red and very sun faded, with some scuffs etc) so i thought a wrap would be cheaper than a re-spray.

It is a VW transporter. Can anyone recommend any services in the south east or london? It seems to be in the region of £1000. any ideas or tips please. thanks.

  • Pay a body shop to give it a good mop, should cost a lot less than a grand; then take care of it with good quality wax.
  • A respray done well would add value to the van, unless you're having some crazy wrap design to make it look like a passion wagon.

Just don't go A-Team van, it's wrong, so wrong.
  • No crazy design... just going to do a solid colour. Yes if i got it looking great it could be worth 4k for resale...

    Unless it's got a clearcoat :(
See many red and yellow cars faded badly, and nothing you can do about it as it's under the clear.

True... I bet a red transporter won't be though.

ETA: I have no idea if this will be the case or not, this is pure conjecture on my part.
  • wrap highlights imperfections rather than hides it except for light surface scratches that can be mopped out anyway.

You presumed non clear as it's a transporter, I presumed clearcoat as a wrap is being suggested, maybe we will find out which it is?!
£4k may suggest older, aren't these things usually worth a few quid?
