Here is the problem I have got:

Some time I ago I post about how I set up a claim on Money Claim Online requesting £900 from Abbey National.

Quick summery of what happened.

- Wrote to Abbey requesting £900.
- They wrote back with £500 charges refunded
- Wrote to Abbey thanking them for the £500, but it was not the full amount. Told them to refund full amount within 14 days or I will file a claim.
- Got a letter back saying they were not going to refund any more.
- Filed a claim with MCOL for £900. I should have put £400 so made a mistake.
- Abbey defended the claim of £900.
- Got a court date for September.

Now, what options do I have here? I really dont want to go to court.

Do you think I should write to the court and cancel my claim and go via the financial obudsmen service for the £400 or;

Write to the court, explain my situation and hope they will let me change the claim and re-issue the claim to abbey.

Panicking and dont know what to do! HELP!!

Thanks
