DAB Radio in the car?

http://maps.ofcom.org.uk/dab/ may give you some indication. http://www.bbc.co.uk/reception/digitalradio/expansion.html is what the BBC are up to to improve coverage.

A proper DAB radio head unit will switch between DAB and FM and back to DAB for most radio services (some, of course are only available on one platform or the other). The DAB adapters can't do that.

Replacing a head unit may be a bit more expensive - but probably worth it.:eek:

I have a DAB radio in my Vaux Insignia, It can automatically switch from DAB to FM, but the process takes ages and you always miss something interesting.

I've set all my presets to use FM first and only use DAB for the world service and digital only stations like 6 music, 4 extra etc.
