3 Card Balance Transfer - Help Needed

Hi,

I'm in a bit of a complicated situation and could do with some advice. Basically, the situation is as follows.

I currently have:

Virgin Credit Card - £1100
Barclaycard - £0 (This has just been transferred to my new Alliance & Leicester 0% card, below)
Alliance & Leicester - £800 (new 0% card)

Now I want to balance transfer the £1100 on my Virgin card where I am paying interest to my new 0% Alliance & Leicester card, but I have found out that I am not allowed to do this, as both cards are operated by MBNA. So then I thought I would transfer it to the newly cleared Barclaycard first and then onto the new A&L card, but Barclaycard are telling me I am not allowed to do balance transfers, for some reason.

The only other way I could think of doing it, would be to withdraw the £1100 out in cash from my Barclaycard, and using this to pay off the remainder of the Virgin balance. This would then leave me with £1100 on the Barclaycard which I can then transfer to the Alliance & Leicester card, and then everything will be on the new 0% card, how I want it.

I just wondered if this route was practical - how much would I be charged to take that cash out on the Barclaycard etc? I've just been into Barclays and theey told me it would be 27%, but as I would be paying it off straight away by transferring to to the A&L card that wouldn't apply would it?

I hope that all makes sense, any advice?

Thanks in advance :)

    Option 1.
Ring MBNA and ask them to transfer your (ficticious ;)) £1,100 overdraft to the A&L card (confirm it is at 0% - it should be). Then, when they've sent you the money, settle the Virgin card from your current account.

    Option 2.
Ring MBNA and ask them for some 0% cheques for your new A&L card. Pay one into your current account and settle the Virgin card from there.
