Travel Insurance - Travel Insurance Web

I took out my annual multi trip insurance via travel - insurance web and for the first time ever had to make a claim as my wallet was stolen from pocket whilst in Spain. I can only report what a nightmare this company has been to deal with. They have had claim form, police report, copies of currency transactions and have still deducted £50 excess for claim despite the policy stating that it is £20. This claim has now been going on since mid June. Yes - the policy might be a good price but the real test of all these travel insurance policies is how claims are dealt with. So, I would not recommend this policy. They also work on continuous authorisations so you need to cancel it if you are renewing elsewhere
