How long to receive confermation of switch

Used big switch on Fri 7th to switch to Eon but up to this evening not yet received any emails. Is it a question of just being patient and waiting?
I got my email from CEC almost immediately,and emails from EON ~ 4 days later , including a weekend ..sounds like you need to contact CEC to find out if your switch has been accepted?0 -

They're a little behind at the moment and they've got to input all the applications manually.
You'll hear something within the next 7 working days.
