paying accomadation costs upfront.

Just wondered my dds uni choices want the whole terms costs upfront but we are on income support just wondered how you are meant to pay for a whole term upfront.

    Your daughter will have student finance for her accommodation costs.

    If it is university run accommodation then they normally make allowances for the fact that the loans don't get paid until they have been there for a few days. Private accommodation is a different kettle of fish though.

    However there is always an interest free overdraft that is offered by most student accounts that could be used until the loan comes in.
