Complaining to N Power

Hi, please could you help me?

Some time this year, Martin the Money Man was on the This Morning show and he was talking about switching utility providers and he mentioned something about N Power.

What I am trying to find out is, I am sure Martin said that once you have complained to N Power, if they don't deal with your complaint within a certain time frame, they have to write your disputed bill off?

We signed up with N Power several months ago for dual fuel. They only ever took the electric off Eon and we therefore, ended up with 2 providers for our gas and electric, N Power and Eon.

We then tried to transfer to First Utility for dual fuel and are now with First Utility AND N Power.

We have complained many times to both companies for months but are still waiting for First Utility to take the electricity from N Power, they have already taken the gas off Eon.

Please could you advise?

If you have a disputed bill N power will not release you to first utility until it's resolved. You need to speak to them and resolve the issue first.

Thanks for you reply but it seems that we are finally moving over the electric to First Utility and this has been confirmed by both providers but we are still in dispute about the bill. Does anybody know what rights we have not to pay N Power's bill at all?
