Just been to my local Asda (stevenage).
I bought some of their NO-AD factor 45 sun lotion and have only been charged 2p instead of 3.58.

I try and use at least 25 factor if not higher. Last year in OZ I used factor 40. And every few hours used baby wipes to remove it and put fresh on.
Some people are lucky or maybe that is unlucky to tan. I don't I just burn go bright red and then go white again. But then I suppose I will not age so quickly as tanned skin is a sign of damaged skin.
I don't rely on sun cream but use hats and long sleeved shirts to give me protection.
Please don't mock the afflicted

I can agree fully with you calley, im very pale, and just burn never tan. But then i have seen first hand with my nan what happens when you sun worship and live for a tan. she had skin cancer 3 times throughout her life and it was from always wanting to get a tan.
pale is much more interesting and our skin wont look like leather when were 60. i slap on at least f25 but when i was in florida i was using factor 30-40. On little miss divadee i slap on total sun block. i dont take any chances with her skin0 -
I was reading yesterday that even when in a car or sat under a sun shade you should still wear sun screen as the sun rays are bounced off everything.
Was it not the fashion for ladies in victorian times to be pale and interesting. As being tanned and brown meant you where working class.
And I would love to have a parsol to carry with me to use to protect me from the sun.
I have even been sad enough to carry a brolly with me to protect me in bright sun shine.
