Insulation on floorboard edges

We have major draught coming through under the fitted kitchen cabinets (these were fitted by previous owners), when I opened up the kitchen cabinet skirting I noticed that there are gaps at the edge of the floorboards and wall (quite uneven as if someone broken some bricks (for piping/wiring perhaps). I can see that anything that comes out of floorboards themselves is insulated by foam. What is the best way to close of the gaps - it is quite small space to work into so if I were to use the foam spray - would it work? Any better options?

Have a look at Draughtex - rubber which fits gaps. Does a good job for me.
  • Thank you, the issue though is not the gaps between the floorboards (we filled them last year when they were sanded), issue is that at the end of the floorboards (under fitted kitchen cabinet), there is no skirting and hence gaps/holes where draught comes in. I think the foam looks a good option and to rephrase my question - Are there any drawbacks of using foam spray to fill gaps (out of sight).
  • use the foam

Obviously, it depends on how large the gap is, but I use this product in the gaps between the bottom of my skirting boards and the floorboards, some of which are up to 1cm.
