So today has not been a NSD, had to top up electricity and will need some petrol. I have cut down on our spending since starting this diary but there has been additional spends added. As I get paid on the 20th of each month, I will calculate the total balance of debt on the 19th and will work from there.
I have one Christmas present to buy, this is a family SC and have a limit of £40 – this money will come out of present budget which will be replenished on pay day!
The aim for the month ahead is not to spend outside of the budget. I might use my diary here to
keep track of the spending for petrol, food shopping, elec and gas (both are on Pay as go).
So from the 20th targets are below. First time I will do this, so these may be amended for next month!
Category Budget Spend Variance
Petrol £160 £0 £160
Food £150 £0 £150
gas £50 £0 £50
elec £50 £0 £50

Ok so in preparation for pay day tomorrow and the 1st month on my debt busting journey I can confirm the the grand balance is at £29049.43.
The plan is to pay the min balance off everything, but clear the Halifax cc which currently has a balance of £319.18. Just need to stick to the budget for the next 26 months. Not too long I know but will be tight going.Loan 1 [STRIKE]£3,341.31[/STRIKE] £2863.98, Loan 2 [STRIKE]£3,121.95[/STRIKE] £2705.69, B'card 1 [STRIKE]£6,632.40[/STRIKE] £9277.50, B'card 2 [STRIKE]£1,986.16[/STRIKE] £3377.27, Virgin [STRIKE]£4,027.52[/STRIKE] £2069.48, Halifax 1 [STRIKE]£2,275.65[/STRIKE] £2208.06, MBNA [STRIKE]£3,953.44[/STRIKE] £3797.30, Credit Union [STRIKE]£3,113.44[/STRIKE] £2016.40

Pay day here and paid 473 off debt so far. Going well. Need to lift cash put today to cover petrol, groceries, credit union, elected and gas. Won't be able to lift all today but will lift some tomorrow too. Want it all lifted so I can hide debit/credit card for a month. Was going to order a new pin for cc but not open but u can't do this with Barclaycard. If u forget your pin you can view it online. So think I will change it to something random and if really need to use it will have to check this. So by time computer starts I'll change my mind!!!Loan 1 [STRIKE]£3,341.31[/STRIKE] £2863.98, Loan 2 [STRIKE]£3,121.95[/STRIKE] £2705.69, B'card 1 [STRIKE]£6,632.40[/STRIKE] £9277.50, B'card 2 [STRIKE]£1,986.16[/STRIKE] £3377.27, Virgin [STRIKE]£4,027.52[/STRIKE] £2069.48, Halifax 1 [STRIKE]£2,275.65[/STRIKE] £2208.06, MBNA [STRIKE]£3,953.44[/STRIKE] £3797.30, Credit Union [STRIKE]£3,113.44[/STRIKE] £2016.40

so not been on in a few months, think the whole christmas thing got in the way. Between that and sickness.
On a good point thought debt is down from when i started on the thread and currently stands at a grand total of £28,305.91
I did hope that it would be lower than this, but fell off the wagon.
on a good point i have cash lifted out to pay for everything needed between now and pay day on the 20/1/2015.
So as the debt stands today the figures are below:
Loan 1: £3023.09
Loan 2: £2705.69
B'card 1: £8724.47
B'card 2: £3413.03
Virgin: £2090.44
Overdraft: £0.00
Halifax 1: £2230.36
Halifax 2: £0.00
MBNA: £3385.65
Credit Union: £2283.18
Money spending for the reminder of the month is as follows:
Elec £15
Petrol £40
Food £63
I am hoping that i will be able to carry over some of the petrol and food money to next month. Plenty of food in the freezer and as i'm off sick at the moment shouldn't be using much petrol!
Ideally i would like to be able to carry over or pay and additional £50 off the debt this month - this would go towards the credit union as i have this money in cash.

Just remembered that I have a dress to take back for a refund, doesn't fit and won't be going anywhere to wear it, so instead of changing size, will get refund that'll be £22.99 off the barclaycard 1 and should take the balance to £8701.48. Need to find £1.48 to round that down!
Of i go to find things to sell and check paypal account for any money. Just checked paypal and £1.50 lurking there so will transfer that today.Loan 1 [STRIKE]£3,341.31[/STRIKE] £2863.98, Loan 2 [STRIKE]£3,121.95[/STRIKE] £2705.69, B'card 1 [STRIKE]£6,632.40[/STRIKE] £9277.50, B'card 2 [STRIKE]£1,986.16[/STRIKE] £3377.27, Virgin [STRIKE]£4,027.52[/STRIKE] £2069.48, Halifax 1 [STRIKE]£2,275.65[/STRIKE] £2208.06, MBNA [STRIKE]£3,953.44[/STRIKE] £3797.30, Credit Union [STRIKE]£3,113.44[/STRIKE] £2016.40
