Abbey.......Help!

Hi Everyone, i'm new to the site so forgive me if this is not the right area to ask this question. back in Febuary i asked Abbey for my charges back (using the template letter) & did not hear anything from them, with one thing and another i forgot all about it (it amounted to £400). Checking back through my statements i found a £80 credit in April from Abbey when i rang them they said it was a settlement payment i told them i did not agree to this and that they never contacted me with this offer, can i still push for the full refund of charges minus the £80, or have i left it too late and by default accepeted the offer by doing nothing sooner.

Cheers,

wavestroller

Yes, tell them you only accept it as a partial settlement and will claim for the remainder.
