How long can Ebico survive?

Yes and it's a shame OFGEM apparantly trying to "simplify" the market didn't make all suppliers offer this. It is far simple to compare when you have one price to compare, not two.
Agreed in 'simplifying' the market, it is now impossible for anyone to know which is the cheapest tariff without knowing exactly your future consumption in kWh.
Do you go for a low Daily Standing Charge(DSC) - zero with Ebico - and a high unit price.
OR
A High DSC and a low unit price.
Then factor in possible discounts for payment methods and dual fuel.0 -

Most commodities markets experience rises and falls, but the only retail prices which react on a near-daily basis are petrol prices and energy prices.
I am naive enough to believe that the wholesalers who play the futures markets should do so in the privacy of their own hot-desks. They should not pass on their gambles to the unsuspecting public.
Is there anybody in the whole of the United Kingdom who believes that the energy companies provide an acceptable level of price clarity and customer service? Is there anybody who believes that OFGEM is serious about bringing the privatised energy companies into the post-nationalisation world?0 -
11.5p per kWh excess charge on each and every kWh of gas - that's a £247 per year "standing" charge rather than the more usual £95.
Really? That's more than my total annual gas bill; which for 9 months of the year is virtually nil.
Still, you carry on looking down on stupid people if it makes you feel better.0
