Tax relief for invesments from "connected persons"

Hey all,
I am in the process of fundraising for an early stage start-up company. My father is interested in investing a small amount but I understand that as he is defined as a "connected person" he is not eligible for the SEIS/EIS tax relief schemes unlike other third party investors (I own well over the 30% threshold).
Are there any tax relief schemes which would he would be eligible for as a connected party? (Both income tax and CGT relief would be relevant to him).
Cheers,
L
