in Credit cards
I've just received my first credit card (cashback) which I intend to use as a debit card and pay off in full every month, however I'm slightly unsure as to what everyday spending is ok to use the credit card for.
£5 in subway...use CC?
Set up on Paypal to buy stuff through ebay?
Amazon, Tesco etc?
Petrol?
All the above fine?
Cash Withdrawl at ATM...No
Anything else I should avoid?

Anything but cash (and quasi cash - eg gambling).0

Hang on... what kind of card is it? Some only give cashback on certain things.0

Some companies charge a fee for credit cards so just check that when making an unusual/ different transaction for example paying for a holiday, car, insurance etc.
If used correctly (paid off on time each month) they can be a nice earner!0 -
it's not 'a debit card' in that the debt builds up each month, but i get your point: you will clear in full, so use it for your usual spending as you have used your debit card.
i almost never make a purchase with a debit card...as i want cashback on my spending.
so yes, all of the above spending, and withdraw cash, only when you really need it;), from your current account using your debit card:)0 -
Thanks for all the replies, very helpful0
