Halifax Mobile Phone Insurance

Hello, I have the Halifax Ultimate Reward Account, I've had it about 5 years now and not had to use the mobile phone insurance before.
Unfortunately my iphone went for a swim at the weekend. I've sent the claim form and my phone off today, they will get there tomorrow.
I'm finding it really hard without a phone as I use it for sat nav for work, I'm lost without my numbers and notes. Luckily I synced it a few days before it broke so I shouldn't have lost much.
Just wondering if anybody has claimed on this before and how long it took?? The claim form states they assess your claim within 1 working day, if your claim is accepted, your Mobile Phone will be repaired within 2 working days of claim acceptance. This just sounds too good to be true and I can't help but feel I'm going to be without a phone for much longer!
Thanks

Usually sorted within a week.
Don't forget the £100 excess though.0 -
Thats assuming its repairable. You may find that you just get a bank credit for the 2nd hand value of the phone if its not.
I am surprised that a swim killed it, wife has a nasty habit of dropping her phone in water and each time a couple of days in the airing cupboard in a container of dry rice has always had it working again0 -

Fingers crossed, the phone arrived with them today, I've just tracked it.

How will I find the value of a second hand iphone 5?
To be fair, it wasn't its first swim! And this time, it was submerged for a long time before it was found... not just a dip! Rice sorted it previously, this time it wouldn't even turn on after, so I thought may aswell use the insurance I pay for!0 -

When the Mrs' phone went for a walk down some concrete stairs without her the insurer behind the Barclay's equivalent policy used the Amazon Marketplace an average price of the refurb/ top 2nd hand prices to set the cash settlement price
At a very quick look suggests for a black 16gb its about £300 so net of the £100 excess it'd be a cheque/ deposit for £2000 -
Thanks for the replies. I've just logged into my halifax account and got this message:
Good news: your claim has been accepted and we have processed your excess payment.
If you have already sent your mobile phone to the repair centre, your repair will start shortly. Once the repair has started on your mobile phone, it should take no longer than 5 working days to complete.
If you haven't done so already, please send your mobile phone to our repair centre as soon as possible, to the address stated on the letter we sent you. We recommend you send it by secure means, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.
The phone arrived at the repair centre yesterday so fingers crossed should know something soon. Although this message contradicts what the claim form says, that the phone will be repaired within 2 working days.0
