I usually just roll my eyes at companies behaving badly and cross them off my list. But this one riled me because:
1. It's an effort comp so esp unfair on the people who entered correctly
2. it looks like a cover up with the 'screen grab', and
3. They make a living out of sticking to their own ts and cs when it comes to paying out on their policies!!!!


As the OP said the winning photo is amazing but that doesn't give them the right to disregard the Ts and cs

yup i too reported this to ASA, wasnt sure the other guys but did that shortly after they sent me the modified date/time stamp. that was 10-11am ish. Without that i felt a tad peeved with it friday, but a beer and a sleep and i had forgotten all about it!

On 03/11 when the competition was closed it was

We received over 100 entries

so that has become "hundreds" (to be fair there were at least 25 twitter entries and you could enter by e-mail as well so they had more entries than just those showing on the FB page)

Did anyone Tin-Eye the winning photo? Sometimes these things look a little too perfect! (I can't as I'm posting from iPhone at the moment).

I find this behaviour awful - and of an insurance company of all people!!

Just to point out The time shows up different depending on if you are on the phone or laptop apparently. But yes somethings off I think!

Could it be something to do with Timezones?
GMT + 1 and all that?, they might see different times in they're in a different timezone?
