Hello,
I know this is very basic and I'm obviously doing something incorrectly. In cell A1 I have the value of a product and in cell B1 I have what has to still be paid on the product. I want to input a formula in cell C1 to advise of the percentage of the product that has been paid for. I'm assuming this is possible?
Thanks

=(A1-B1)/A1 and you can format the cell to show a percentage.0
-
C1 = (A1-B1) / A1
and format C1 as number type percentage.
eg
A1 = £50 (purchase price)
B1 = £20 (not paid for yet)
A1-B1 = £30 (what has already been paid)
£30 / £50 = 0.6
i.e. 60% of the product has been paid for.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
