Heat Run

The message 'HEAT RUN' has appeared across the top of my TV and I can't get rid of it; there is nothing in the manual to say what it means. Anyone got a clue about this:confused:
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

No idea, but it may be helpful to post the make and model of the TV.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

Sorry - thought it might be generic. TV is Pro-line, model TVC140

loads of these faults on google.. a few suggestions are

This is a common fault with this model, you need a service remote control to remove the heat run message. This product was sold by Comet, this service remote as far as I know is not readily available, suggest you contact your nearest Comet SVC Dept. for help

    or

Another solution is to replce the EEPROM

    look here

Thanks. It's an old TV we use in the kitchen, so probably not worth spending any money on.
