i have £700 in a savings account

i have £700 in a savings account is it worth investing this into anything, if so what and how would i go about setting this up.

    Is this £700 the only savings you've got? If so, the only thing I would think about "investing" in is a good cash ISA to make sure your interest is tax free. Its best to have a store of readily available cash before you think about longer term investments.

    If you already have cash saved well there are many more useful people on this board than me who I'm sure will be along... A bit more information on your circumstances would help though, eg age, any dependants, how much you are able to save per month, etcetera.

    i have other savings, however this is the amount i would like to invest with, as high return as possible
