Bank charge SDMT

Hi,
My OH's employer forgot to pay the salary and once they found this they did a same day money transfer and credited the salary to the current account. The bank charged £ 5.00 for this. Is this normal ? Should my OH ask the employer to refund this or ask the bank to refund this ?

Normally the sender pays the bank fee. Ask your bank why you were charged0
