Epson printer will print from Word doc but not publisher

I have just encountered a strange problem with my printer. Any docs from Word I can print off but not from Publisher.
Any help appreciated

Are you sure it's the doc is being sent to the printer?
My office programmes sometime defaults the printer to "OneNote" which catches the wife out more often than it should
