Just curious here - watching the third game of the NFL in London the year, is there any way to invest in the NFL moving to London over the course of the next few years?
Thanks :T

Not sure I understand, but if you want to speculate on the possibility of the NFL moving to London I am sure any high street bookmaker could accommodate you0

Thanks for the reply ColdIron - I didn't necessairly mean having a wager on whether a team moves to London or not - it's more about investing in the NFL as a whole over the long term to take advantage of (what I believe to be) a long term increase in income from the NFL in Europe.0

The Jacksonville Jaguars will steadily increase their presence at Wembley and they will move them here full time in the next few years.
I doubt you can invest in them as all the NFL teams have family or business owners. However you could buy yourself a franchise for around 900 million dollars.

Probably setting up ebay and amazon stores and getting stocked up on NFL shirts and memorabilia ... Perhaps a Yahoo business or Jigoshop store and target the UK/European market
I know a lot of people don't like getting their hands dirty - buying *actual* stock, and selling it - but you're more likely to get rich doing that than investing in an index tracker
Of course I don't know the market for NFL memorabilia over here at all, so you'd need to do a lot of research0 -
In most sports the easiest way to become a millionaire through investing in a team is to start off as a billionaire. The mega-rich Americans, Russians and Arabs don't buy into teams to make money but because it is an ego trip.0

The NFL is different.
Everything is done centrally by the NFL rather than through each club. They then share the revenues relatively equally. The revenues are astronomical.
They also have a very strong salary cap and transfer system (the draft) so that wages and players fees cannot over inflate like they have in the Premier League say.
Therefore unless there are very extreme circumstances, every franchise makes a profit.0
