Axa won't pay my £80 Topcashback money

If Axa didn't pay TCB, it should disclose to whom the payment was made. This would certainly help the OP to understand what he is alleged to have done to prevent the TCB payment.I am a mortgage broker. Its quidco but it shows that quidco were liable for the complaint. Not the provider of the financial product.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The link is to a complaint that was raised against quidco for the distress they caused a customer.
There is no mention of a complaint against the provider being refused. ( In your irrelevant link the provider had paid out and the complainant had received his cashback. The provider was obviously not responsible for any distress that quidco caused its member, which was the reason for the complaint)0 -
Axa are to blame for withholding the agreed cashback....
Read the OP. - directly or indirectly a separate entity, for example a search engine or voucher code, has become linked to this transaction and been recognised as the last referrer instead of ourselves.
Axa are not withholding the agreed cashback, They have paid it to somebody else....They won't want to get involved in a FOS complaint when it will be much cheaper for them to pay what they owe to quickly end the issue.
If the FOS have no jurisdiction it won't cost them a penny.0 -

If you read up on tcb insurance complaints you will see that is a stock answer given (along with the one about strict confidentiality preventing them saying which other source supposedly got the money)
It doesn't mean the op cannot raise the complaint as suggested!0 -
There is no harm in making the complaint and seeing what happens.
I emailed Axa for the first time about it on 03/11/14 and got their auto-reply that they aim to respond within 48 working hours. No reply as yet, so I'll give it a few more days.
Surely there should at least be an answer to where my £80 went. Did Axa pay it to an incorrect party or do they still have it? Did they pay it to Topcashback who have not passed it on? I would like to know who has the money rather than a simple statement about confidentiality.0 -
I ended up shaming tesco and quidco on twitter to get my £50 cashback, but they had said I was owed the money. Maybe a couple of comments on the Facebook page might get a little bit more attention.0

Hi Mark Bargain, sorry to see your posts about not receiving cashback - please can you email landlord.insurance@axa-insurance.co.uk with your policy number and postcode so we can look into this for you?

Well, well. Out of the blue I just received this message from Topcashback:
Hi,
We would like to offer you £80.00 in respect of your missing commission claim.
Please press the [Accept Offer and close Claim] button above to have this credited to your account and close this claim
Kind Regards,
TopCashback Support
Obviously I accepted that and it's now in my Topcashback account. Result!0 -

Thanks Angelina. It seems it was sorted a few minutes before your post to this forum.
