Just a word of warning and a little vent.
Been trying to book next years summer holiday with Expedia.
Found what I wanted and tried to book, but after entering credit card details i was told there was a problem and the card declined but to re enter details which I did. It did this a few times and suggested I use a different card which I did still with no luck.
Anyway called Expedia today to try and book over the phone and the same thing happened. Agent suggested I call my cc company incase my card was locked. I did and was told that all my previous transactions had in fact gone through and were pending and I had exceeded my limit too.
Called my other card provider and the same has happened there.
Called Expedia again to explain and ask for money to be returned ASAP, and they told be they had no bookings in my name so the funds would be returned in due course (72 hours).
I imagine they took my money but were unable to book my flight or hotel and have left me in this mess:mad:
Also my bank has told me to check with them in future each time my card is declined, as it's a common occurrence for the charge to go through..
