Hsbc bank turn nasty

Hi I new here so please bear with me I really do need some help.

I have made 2 claim for bank charges against hsbc . One for the hsbc credit

card for £207 !! Which they have defended and the court date is 10th

October. I have to send the court bundle to arrive before 27th July however I

am worried about the postal strike. What do you think I am going to ring the

court to see, also will they accept a mini court bundle?

Please help I have also made claim on my current account they made me and

offer on the 20th June for £3200 I claimed 4500 and turned the offer down.

They contacted me at home 8.30pm ad stated they would contact me on

Monday with the re evalued offer. We discussed the payment method and how l
long it would take,ie upto 14days and also the status of my account and I

stated that I would be clearing this with the claim and have some left

over.Someone was to call me on Monday and confirm the figure. Nothing

happened and I contacted them by phone waited ages still no information

passed from person!!I also contacted them by email online banking. Answer I

should have a response and it had been passed to the service dept oh no to the legal dept.

Yesterday I recieved a letter demanding payment on both accounts or they would place them in default. I am obviously not in a position to do this.

Can they do this the current has also just been lodged with mcol.
Any advice ,please help.
SPC £500 well will try very hard.

Presumably you haven't just been asked for the court bundle. Assuming you've taken some time to gather the information, the court should be understanding of the postal stirke and not penalise you for being a day or so late.

Write to the bank and let them know the amount is in dispute and not to pursue you until it is resolved. Tell them if they place a default whilst the debt is in dispute, you will ask the court to have it removed and complain to the Financial Ombudsman about their conduct.

    Hi Nick

Many thanks for you reply I shall write the letter tonight. How dare they react with threatening behavior.

I have now completed my court bundle, what a lot of pages. However would love to see their faces as all these bundles keep arriving> I am tempted to sent one to my local bank - not really.

How are you getting on with your claim?
