New boiler now or wait until next year?

The ECO scheme is still up and running as far as I know, I asked a local firm for help as I didn't know if I qualified for it, thankfully they told me I did after I ran through what benefits / etc I'm on at the moment.

The local firm (stl heating) also mentioned that with ECO the government contribute towards the cost of a new boiler (which is very handy). I thought that was good, esp. as the quote I had from British Gas was very high. Still as for getting your boiler replaced, ECO is an option ... but also maybe worth getting a second opinion just to be sure.

Since you have joined MSE lots of your posts are simply to mention xxx heating.


No connection with that firm of course - just a satisfied customer;).


Last year another poster similarly spent time promoting the same firm.

Yes I've just done a quick google " Ray Alexander stl heating"
It seems you spend an awful lot of time trawling blogs forums and newspaper articles doing nothing but plugging the greatness of stl heating.
I'm sure it's just a coincidence actually no I'm sure you're spamming.
