SM Bus Controller

in Techie Stuff
Whilst looking at my desktop PC this morning it is telling me that SM Bus Controller is not installed. I am running Windows 8.1 - should I allow computer to fix this?

Thanks for your response. However, I am still unsure how to proceed. I can work out some techie things but not sure which of the two links would be best for me.
Some more basic guidance would be helpful.
Edited to say that it is a Dell XPS8700 with i5-4440 processor.0 -
You should have motherboard drivers or get them from DELL.0

Nothing showed up when I did a search for drivers. Will go onto Dell site once I have time to get my service tag. Thanks.0
