Boiling Water

Thought this might be useful here. There seems to be a lot of confusion about the treatment of water to make it fit to drink.
Water only needs to come to a rolling boil. That's it. Turn it off. Any longer only wastes water (through evaporation), wastes fuel (by using more than you need to) and can have the effect of concentrating any chemicals or metals in the water.
