A Financial Association Question

I have recently become a member of experian so that I can keep an eye on my credit score as I am hoping to get a mortgage.
However it appears I have a financial link to my ex. When we were together we had a joint bank account with the Royal Bank of Scotland, but this has been closed due to my IVA completing.
It says that we are joined by Halifax - Mortgage and NORTHERN ROCK (ASSET MANAGEMENT)PLC.
I have absolutely no Idea what these are for and I certainly didnt sign any paperwork for them
How do I get his name taken off my file and check that he hasnt fraudulantly taken them out jointly with me? To make this even harder we split in 2004 and I havent heard from him since. I have no contact details.
Im really concerned about this. Please help me xx

You need to contact the CRAs and file a notice of disassociation.
I presume none of the linked accounts are on your account history of your credit report?:beer:0 -
