Hi - can anyone suggest a web secure non-contactless card. I want a low credit limit, again for security

What is a "web secure" card? Isn't the security dependent on how you use it? And if you intend to use it for web purchses then I'd have thought the contactless-ness of it would be irrelevant, as you'd have no need to take it anywhere near a contactless terminal.0

I'd assume they're talking about Verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode.
They also don't say that they only want to use it online, and even if they did, they seem paranoid about contactless security so presumably wouldn't want anyone who stole it to be able to use it.
To answer the question, just about any card will fulfill those needs. I believe Lloyds don't allow you to opt out of contactless but most seem to.0 -

The Lloyds Bank representative on here has said you aren't allowed to opt out?0 -
Even if the card is contactless, if it's only going to be used for online nothing stopping you from noting the details and then destroying the card.0

I think it would be helpful if you said more than that! When did you request it?0 -

New card was received end September went to branch and they changed it for me - got a contactless card 4 days later.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -

There have been cards in the past that allowed you to generate a one time only CC number for use online so that if there was ever issues with security etc the number would be useless. Dont know if this is what the OP is referring to rather than 3D Secure0
