in Credit cards
Hi
Before reading about National Hunter in another post, I had never heard of it.
Do credit card companies interact with the system as standard on every credit card application, mortgage applications etc before making decisions?

Although it's probably the best known on here, National Hunter is not the only fraud prevention agency (FPA) in the UK.
But to answer your question, I'd imagine most (all?) lenders will refer to a FPA database, as well as to an applicant's CRA file, as part of their credit application processing. After all, they do say they may (for 'may', read 'will'!) in their privacy policies (and also during an online application...that's the box you tick to say you've read, understand, and agree to their privacy policy!
