Divorce Proceedings

My brother is currently in the middle of a rather messy divorce. His ex-wife has refused to sign anything. The court has accepted that she has received the Divorce Petition and he's just applied for the Decree Nisi.

How long will it take for the Decree Nisi to be granted?

Are there any grounds on which his ex-wife could object to the divorce going ahead (the reason being given by my brother is Unreasonable Behaviour)?

Although they agreed, in principal a financial settlement, his wife has now instructed her solicitor that she wants more money for a clean break. There are no children involved. If she wants a financial settlement will she need to aproach the court for this seperately or will it all be done as part of the divorce proceedings?

Sorry but I don't really understand all the divorce process, but as my brother is living abroad I'm trying to help out where I can.
