Balance Transfer Advice

Afternoon all - long time lurker, first time poster.

Had a question I was hoping someone could help me with.

I applied for the Barclaycard Platinum card on Thurs for the 0% Balance Transfer deal, and after a brief convo with them today was advised i'd been accepted with a £5.5k limit.

I have two existing credit cards with balances circa £1k i'll be transferring over in the next few days, however both of these are now past the statement date (circa 2nd of the month) and are asking for a minimum payment for this month to be made by end of Nov.

Question is - if I transfer the full balance on the existing cards prior to the payment due date do I still need to make this minimum payment, as obv remaining balance on the old cards post transfer should be £0? Or should I make minimum payment on the cards first, and then transfer the remaining balances over?

Thanks in advance, first time doing a balance transfer!
