The Caribbean is a group of islands in the Caribbean Sea
There's no end to 'creative' marketing in the travel industry, I guess
The Caribbean is an ocean, that does indeed have a number of islands.
When I lived in Colombia in the mid-1990s its northern coast was referred to as its Caribbean coast, so this is hardly something that the travel industry has done.0 -

Totally agree, Cancun is in the Caribbean. There are only five oceans in the world and Caribbean is not one of them !!! It is a SEA.0 -
I've stayed in Dom rep in February and April I stayed in Puerto platta complex as I wanted the freedom between beach, swimming pool, not far from ocean world and still be able to wonder a bit on trip and some shops but if u went further down the island it seems to be hotel only not much Around.
Last time we went was 2011 - that was April it was hot gd tan no real rain.
I've stayed previously in cancun I enjoyed but I found it to be nightlife based out in clubs and there are parts of season when American teenagers pour in as drinking restrictions are 18 rather than 25. I found cancun expensive xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
