When to go in August?

Sorry to ask another boring question. I will be booking a 2 week holiday in August beginning either 11 or 18 August somewhere in Spain/Portugal/France/italy. Would anybody know generally which of these 2 fortnights would be cheaper. The second one is later in season - therefore may be cheaper - but I would be coming back on the August bank-holiday weekend. Any thoughts/experiences very gratefully received.

Why not just have a look for both dates and pick the cheapest one? I'm looking at the minute and they're coming back a similar price.0
