'pre-maturely' expired 10 day saving deals

...so I got the news letter announcing the big 10 days switch on the 31.10.14.

Yesterday, (7.11.17, only 7 days into the 10 days deal, I thought) - I went to do the switch - and was surprised and disappointed to see that the top 3 had already expired... :huh::mad:

As there is no phone number to contact and speak with a person and ask (:() - I searched the site till I finally found that the 10 days deal was already launched on the 29.10.14 (which made all the difference and explained why I naturally assumed I had 2-3 more days to act - but actually didn't - and I missed out)....:shocked:

Can I request (using my prettiest please...:)) that such big deals, which are eagerly waited for a whole year, and which are so limited in time - be announced to us as soon as, (and if not possible - :think: then instead of just generally stating that they are limited to 10 days (which we assume start counting from the date of the news e-mail) - and to avoid such 'MISSes' in future - (for your own commissions and profits too) -
could you kindly state the actual date of expiration?:idea:
Hopefully the next 'big switcheroo' deal won't be next year or exactly after the big winter usage...:eek:

Which news letter are you referring to? :huh:

Are you signed up to the MSE weekly email? It was mentioned there on the email sent 29 October 2014

(and was reiterated, with a renewed warning of the closing date, this week in the email sent 05 Novemebr 2014)

Such emails can also be read direct from this site from those days mentioned, and I think there was a news article published here too on that date, so do keep them peeled

Have you considered twitter? Martin tends to use that rather than this forum nowadays (and MSE have their own account too). I'm sure it would have tweeted on the 29th October about it too ... and probably on many occassions since

Btw - I've seen some posts suggesting even better tariffs have been launched since the MSE collective tariff was, so just do a comparison and see how much you could be saving today
