my wife received a Viber message saying she had won a iphone6. She is asked to visit Viberpromotions.com and enter a four digit code that is in the message.
We are very suspicious is it a con. It must be.
Nothing is for free?

Hard to say, both viber.com and the above have hidden ownership
But to "win" you have to complete an offer so to me it's a scam
Ps I made up a 4 digit code and it let me through as a winner by the wayEx forum ambassador

However this is not a spam email but possibly a spam viber message.
Very surprised that there is no "buzz" about this scam as my wife received her version of the message (in French) 5 hours ago. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Probably nothing there but drive-by infections are possible these days and I wouldn't visit unknown sites from spam emails.

The website itself is clean although it's using outdated software.

However after inputting a random 4 digit number and hitting the Verify button I got taken to Mgjimp.com which, according to Web of Trust, is engaged in the distribution of malware and is an abusive spammer.

So yes, definitely a scam.0
