good laptop cleaner (hd)

I'm after a good free cleanup tool for a laptop. To remove any unwanted junk, viruses etc etc. It's running a bit slow so trying to clean it up a bit. Can anyone rrecommend one?

CCleaner, superantispyware and malwarebytes. All have free versions and will usually do a pretty good job of getting rid of unwanted stuff.
Also look at the windows uninstaller and get rid of any old stuff you don't want. Useful to run a anti-virus scan also, again free version are Microsoft security essentials, avast etc
If that doesn't sort it then there are other tools but they get more complicated to use and understand.
If you don't care what is on the laptop you can do a full re-install or factory reset (most models these days come with a factory recovery image)0 -
